The Former governor of Delta State, Felix Olorogun Ibru, is dead. Vanguard reports that the business tycoon passed on Saturday, March 12, at the age of 80 after a brief illness.
Until his death, he was the president general of the Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU), as well as being on the board of several establishments.
Ibru, a former senator of the Federal republic, was born on 7 December 1935 at Agbarha-Otor in the Ughelli North local government area of Delta State to Chief Peter Epete Ibru.
Although the family is yet to issue an official statement on the demise, his reported death has been an item on the social media as sympathizers are already flooding the pages with condolences.
