Ekiti State Governor has approve N237m car loan for workers

The Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose has approved the sum of N237m as car loan to workers in the state civil service.

According to the state  commissioner for Finance, Toyin Ojo, the grade levels of the workers were taken into consideration, during selection.

He also said the civil servants will get up to N1.5 million loan, paid in full.

While calling on those that applied for the loans to check for their names on the approved list, Toyin said Fayose was committed to the welfare of the workers in the state.

The Ekiti state chapter of the All Progressives Congress also accused Fayose of plotting to conceal fraud for opposing the Treasury Single Account (TSA) policy of the Federal Government.
This is coming on the heels of the Governor’s comment referring to the TSA policy as already tainted with fraud.
