North West feeding baby Saint West |
Kim Kardashians has reveal that North West doesn't not feel comfortable when she is feeding their new Baby Saint West. You wouldn't blame poor North, because he has always felt pampered but the arrival of their new baby. Kim reveal this on a special interview session, where she also talk exclusively about breast feeding.
She said:
“For some reason, North hates when I feed the baby, and she lays on my lap so Saint can't be right in front of me to eat,” the 35-year-old revealed on her website during a discussing about breastfeeding.
“I'm not gonna lie—it can be time-consuming.”
But Kim reveals she's found a novel way to stop the feeding-time tantrums - she pumps her milk and gets her lively two-year-old to do feed Saint herself.
“That totally worked! She loved helping me, as opposed to my attention being off of her, and now she is my little helper.”
While the mum feels “super-lucky” that she can produces a lot of milk, it doesn’t mean she gets tired of feeding.
“This 4am feeding really kills me. I'm like delirious,” the mum tweeted to her 39.5million followers.
Fans were quick to give the tired mama a nod of support with one saying, “Awww but I bet it's worth it Keeks!” while another offered her help quipping,
“Stay strong! I would babysit for you!”
While she's not quite at the point of accepting help from strangers on the internet, Kim admits she does lean on her mum, Kris - or, more specifically, Kris' kitchen!
Unable to keep up with her excess milk, Kim has been storing the supplies in her mum's freezer.
Kim also divulged a tip to her fellow breastfeeding mothers – use a nipple shield.
“I find the baby feeds better, and it allows me to never get irritated nipples or anything because they're protected by the shield.
“The hospital suggested shields to me, since at the beginning I found nursing super painful and difficult, so I took some home and never looked back.”
Often a divisive topic of conversation, Kim says everyone's entitled to their own opinion about breastfeeding.
“I know some people find breastfeeding such a private, personal experience, while other people are very open and even breastfeed in public,” she says.
“I say whatever makes you comfortable goes. I still personally wouldn't breastfeed at a restaurant with a bunch of people I didn't know staring at me. I've seen this before and remember tweeting how shocked I was.”
Adding, “Now that I'm a mum, I'm not that shocked, especially if you have a few kids and can't leave to breastfeed one kid in the bathroom while leaving the others at the table."
While Kim still “wouldn’t personally do it, unless it was an emergency situation and was fully covered,” she does believe it’s “such a natural experience!”
