GO Williams! Serena Williams Defeats Maria Sharapova for 18th Consecutive Time at the Australian Open

Go Girl! Yeah I just can't hide the fact that I am a big fan of the Williams sisters, so when ever they play I through my support to them. Serena Williams defeated Maria Sharapova for the 18th consecutive time on Monday to reach the Australian Open semifinals.

Serena dispatched Maria 6-4, 6-1 to set up a semifinal clash with world number four player Agnieszka Radwanska later this week. But this time, someone please advice Drake to please stay at home, are you asking why, well at the last US Open where Serena Williams lost a lot of fans blamed it on the allege romantic involvement with Drake who showed up in almost every of her game.

Since defeating Serena twice in 2004, Maria has not won a single match against Serena. In fact, as The New York Times pointed out, the last time Maria defeated Serena, Barack Obama had just been elected a senator, Lol and Obama has since been elected President twice!

Serena now leads Maria 19-2 in their on-court meetings. How is it that Serena makes less than Maria in endorsements again?

If Serena goes on to win the Australian Open, she will tie Steffi Graf’s Open era record of 22 Grand Slam titles.
