Striker Emmanuel Emenike Quits Super Eagles


This is not what the Nigeria Senior Football Team the Super Eagles as they are trying to get back to be the name they use to be in the footballing world. If you recall the drama that has been happening that lead to our long standing captain Goal Keeper Vincent Enyeama announcing is early retirement from the National Team via his Instagram page with report suggesting feud with newly appointed coach Sunday Oliseh. Afterwards, there were reports that the NFF had plans to regulate the players’ social media use.

Next is the Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike, who has announced that he is retiring form the national team after five years, Premium Times reports.

Lewandowski reveals scoring Goals alone do not impress Guardiola


Robert Lewandowski's remarkable scoring feats have not seen the striker earn preferential treatment from his Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola, who expects more than just goals.

The Poland international has netted an exceptional 12 strikes in eight Bundesliga appearances this campaign, while his record for club and country combined in all competitions this season is even more impressive - 22 goals already in just 16 games.

Oscar Pistorius Released From Prison Under House Arrest


South African Olympic and Paralympic athlete, Oscar Pistorius, has been released from prison and put under house arrest nearly one year after he was jailed for killing his girlfriend.

He is expected to spend the remainder of a five-year prison sentence at his uncle’s home in Pretoria.

Pistorius, 28, shot Reeva Steenkamp through a locked bathroom door but said he thought she was an intruder.
