WAEC: "We Will Not Introduce Computer Based Test"
The West Africa Examination Council (WEAC) says it will not introduce the Computer Based Test in its examinations.
Addressing reporters on Friday in Abuja, an official of the council, Mr Charles Eguridu, said the Computer Based Test could not be used to determine the knowledge of students in certain subjects, as the councils exams are based on theory not objectives.
Car robbery suspect says he can steal any brand of vehicle
Kehinde Oluomo who is specialized in stealing motor cars was recently arrested by the Nigerian Police Force, Kwara State command said there was no type of vehicle he couldn't break into no matter the brand or how high-tech it was. He said all he needs to break into it and steal it is a piece of wire.
He confessed to having stolen six cars through this means.
The suspect, who said he was from Lagos State, explained that he started car robbery 2 years ago.
According to him, his strategy was to monitor where vehicles were parked, ensured that nobody was watching him and then he broke into the vehicle with the aid of a wire.
9 year old transgender Parent sues school for discrimination
Transgender parents claim officials in Komarek School District 94 in North Riverside discriminated against the third grader. The parents of a transgender boy file a petition against a west suburban school district, claiming their son was denied use of the boys' restroom.
The child was born female, but diagnosed with gender dysphoria and now identifies as a boy. The petition states the student was told to use a restroom for adult faculty members
