NYSC bars nursing mothers, pregnant women and others from service

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has barred pregnant women, nursing mothers and Post graduate students from partaking in the national service across the country.

NYSC DG, Brig-Gen. Johnson Olawumi, said the exemption of people in these categories from service was because they would not be able to undergo the four cardinal programmes of the NYSC, which is mobilization, orientation, primary assignment and winding-up passing out parade.

Evil! This New born baby is found dumped in gutter in Edo

Don't know what is wrong with this generational mom, as innocent as this baby. According to the report, Residents of Akala Street in Benin City, the capital of Edo State, were thrown into a state of shock and surprise when they woke up to discover the decomposing body of a new born baby which had been dumped in a gutter in the area.
