Finally it is over! Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are calling it quits as report says Halle has filed for divorce.
Halle and Martinez got married back in 2013 and have a two-year-old son, Maceo. The couple has been dodging rumors of marriage trouble for months, but it looks like the rumors may have been more accurate than they wanted us to believe.
A source tells PEOPLE that nothing prompted the split but the relationship had “run its course.”
“They are keeping it amicable now,” the source says. “She is okay.”
This will be Halle’s third divorce and Olivier’s first. They’ve issued a joint statement:
“It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly our children’s privacy, as we go through this difficult period.”
