Aisha Yesufu, a Human Rights Activist and one of the organizers of Bring Back Our Girls initiative took to her Twitter handle earlier today to post the picture of an 18-year-old girl who allegedly drank half a bottle of sniper (a poisonous insecticide), in an attempted suicide bid, and left a note that she decided to take that route because her boyfriend dumped her.
Yesufu who said the teenager happened to be her friend's house help, could still be down with some serious heart infection after she was saved from death because the doctors say her heart is now affected by the substance.
The said boyfriend who jilted her had to be brought into the scene and he is seen beside her hospital bed offering her words of encouragement.
This is what Yesufu wrote:
"Young love or sick love? This girl tried killing herself bc her boyfriend jilted her. He was brought to console her."
