Kim Kardashian West decided to spoil her husband a bit by installing a home basketball court for Kanye West's birthday. It was a total surprise for Kanye as he never expected it
According to TMZ report, Kanye returned home from the Staples Center - which she rented out for him to shoot hoops with his friends - on Monday by revealing a construction crew had begun work on the recreational area in the grounds of their Hidden Hills mansion in California.
The 7,000 sq ft extension will include both the basketball court and a new glam room, likely to be used by Kim - who is pregnant with the couple's second child - herself.
It was revealed earlier this week that the Kim splurged $110,000 on hiring the Staples Center for her husband on his 38th birthday on Monday. A source also went further to reveal that:
''Kim rented out the Staples Centre so Kanye and his boys could play an NBA-style game with real refs and Laker girls!
''John Salley is the announcer. Houston Rockets player James Harden and rapper 2 Chainz are the coaches. John Legend sang the national anthem.''
Justin Bieber, Tyga and Pusha T took part in the basketball game whilst Kim's sister Khloé Kardashian took photos from the sidelines.
Captioning a photo of Kanye in a custom-made basketball vest, she wrote:
''Kim rented out staples bitch!!! Him and his boys are going to ball!!!! Happy birthday Yeezy!!!! (sic)''
And Kim also helped the couple's daughter, 23-month-old North, create a special piece of art for Kanye. A source said:
''For his birthday, Kim framed an adorable piece of artwork North created. She drew, or rather scribbled, her version of a rainbow heart for Daddy.
''Below the drawing, Kim had the word 'Rainbow Heart' painted on antique art paper. Kanye is an art collector, so it was a super sweet and clever idea on Kim's part.''
