Known for his famous role in the movie "The Gladiators" Russell Crowe (Maximus) reveal how fatherhood has change his life completely.
The Ace Actor who already have eight-year-old Tennyson and 11-year-old Charles with estranged wife Danielle Spencer and has admitted he now sees everything through the ''prism of being a parent'', something which gave him a ''deep connection'' to the character he played in the "Water Diviner"
He said: ''You know, once you're a parent, everything that you do in life happens from the prism of being a parent.
''So obviously there was a deep connection for me when I read that particular story.''
The 51-year-old actor also admitted he found some of the scenes - in which his character's three sons were fatally wounded in the Battle of Gallipoli - particularly ''difficult'' to film.
He added to E! News: ''Shooting those scenes was very difficult to take emotionally.''
Meanwhile, Russell previously admitted he has become more empathetic and compassionate following the arrival of his two sons.
He said: ''I was in the middle of life, doing other projects, developing things, and suddenly this script (for 'The Water Diviner') arrived and everything changed.
''As a father of two sons, there was an empathy and compassion, straight away. So in a sense I felt I didn't choose the movie. It chose me.''[Bang Showbiz]
