Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin reportedly enjoyed an “affectionate and romantic” date on Easter Saturday.
Actress JLaw has been rumoured to be dating the Chris Martin since last summer but the pair haven't been spotted together since they attended One Direction singer Harry Style's 21st birthday party in January. However it seems the alleged couple made up for lost time while they were both in New York over the holiday weekend.
"It was an affectionate and romantic date for Chris and Jen," an eyewitness at the Central Park-adjacent Tavern on the Green restaurant told Us Weekly. "They arrived separately, Jen first and then waited in her car for a little bit before moving into the restaurant with her bodyguard. Then Chris got there. They made it a quick lunch, she had a roast beef sandwich and he had eggs Benedict."
The source added that the pair spent much of their meal whispering and giggling to each other. Afterwards, the 24-year-old decided to change outfits to head out for a walk around Strawberry Fields in Central Park.
“They left holding hands," the insider continued. "It seemed like the perfect Sunday and they were enjoying the weather.”
The next day, Jennifer was photographed arriving at a small airport in New Jersey with the 38-year-old before they boarded a private jet together.
It's been a busy time for Chris lately as before meeting up with the American Hustle star, he spent quality time in Costa Careyes, Mexico with his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their two children Apple and Moses.
“Gwyneth and Chris had a lot of one-on-one time while the kids were off playing with their friends," a source told the outlet. "They seemed very comfortable and happy together. You wouldn't know by looking at them that they aren't together. They were very loving and friendly."
