Yes its true, when I first saw the story I was like is this an exaggeration from the media or what. But as you know, wonders shall not end, So Police officer dey arrest small pikin for killing fowl, and to think that the chicken belongs to his stepmother actually make this story more interesting.
According to a report on Nigerwatch, a 14 year old boy was sentenced to 5 months imprisonment for allegedly killing his step mother’s chicken in Wudil Local Government Area of Kano State.
The boy who could not be named since he is a minor, more report the boy had been having dispute with his father’s wife for some months and out of youthful anger, killed one of the woman’s chicken and she called in the police who arrested him and charged him to court from where he was sent to jail ….
The boy was then taken to the police station by the stepmom over her chicken and when efforts by the police to settle them yielded no result, the case was transferred to court where the boy was sent to a youth correctional center to serve his time.
