If Any Happen to Buhari if elected President, Osinbajo says he is ready to take the Mantle

In a recent interview with Sahara Reporters, Osinbajo said the first thing the APC will do if they emerge winners at March 28 presidential elections, is to block corruption.

Asked if he was prepared to become the president of Nigeria should anything bad happen to Buhari (like death) if he wins the elections, 

Osinbajo said:

“I think that I’m certainly prepared to serve the nation in whatever capacity I’m elected to, or find myself in and I think that one of the key things we are presenting to the nation is a set of policies not individual. Gen buhari himself has made it clear that he is coming on a platform and this platform is a platform of change. We are looking at how to turn the direction of our country around.”

He was also asked if anything happens to the president and he (Osinbajo) becomes president, how the north would react considering the uncompleted term of Yar’Adua, he replied: 

“What would upset anyone is if for any reason there is some unfairness or injustice in the way that anyone were to emerge whether it is by election or by succession. Nigerians are very fair minded people and what they would like to see is a measure of justice, a measure of fairness and a level playing field. That is what will condition response whatever that response will be.”
