Grammy Award Winner Shania Twain Announces "Rock This Country" Farewell Tour Details

Wow can't believe time could move so fast, Shania Twain is one of my favorite country pop and rock singer especially when she drop her hit songs "Still the One I love" (1997) and also "forever and for always" (2002), they are one of my favorite, still listened to the latter as I make this post now and to think she is already 49 years and having her last tour of her music career just make it look as if one good voice will soon be leaving the music industry.

According to usmagazine, Shania Twain announced on Wednesday, March 4, that she will be going on tour again for the first time in more than ten years to say goodbye to her fans.

The Grammy-winning performer, 49, will kick off her Rock This Country tour in Seattle, Wash. on June 5. This will be the first national tour for Twain since her Up! Tour, which ran from September 2003 through July 2004.

"This is my last tour, so I'm going to make the most of it," the country crooner said on Good Morning America on Wednesday. "I want to go out with a bang."

While she hasn't actively toured the globe in recent years, the "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" performer has been playing live shows in Las Vegas. Twain's Shania: Still the One residency kicked off in December 2012 and ran at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace until December 2014.

The chart-topper -- who divorced first husband Mutt Lange in 2010 and married Frédéric Thiébaud in 2011 -- has debuted stand-alone singles and been featured on songs with other artists, but hasn't released a studio album of new music since 2002's Up!, in addition to her Greatest Hits compilation album in 2004.

She will be performing her classics on the tour, which heads straight to her native Canada in June after the Seattle show. Twain will hit big cities like Vancouver, BC and Toronto, Ontario, before returning to the US for a show in New York City on June 30. The singer will then make her way across the country with stops in Boston, Miami, Minneapolis, Dallas, Denver, and Los Angeles.
