This is good news for those who love playing games, I mean real 3D Games, as famous game manufacturers, Nintendo is collaborating with Japanese publisher DeNa to come up with exclusive game platform in smartphones. Just image you having the popular game "Super Mario" on your device? DeNA has stated that the alliance will result in the creation of new games that leverage Nintendo's IP, and not ports of existing titles currently available on the 3DS and Wii U:
To ensure the quality of game experience that consumers expect from this alliance of Nintendo and DeNA, only new original games optimized for smart device functionality will be created, rather than porting games created specifically for the Wii U home console or the Nintendo 3DS portable system.
Both companies are also be working on a cross-platform gaming service that will be accessible on smartphones, tablets, PCs as well as Nintendo's own products such as the 3DS and the Wii U. The service is set to debut sometime during fall 2015.
As part of the collaboration, Nintendo is buying a 10 percent stake in DeNA, with the mobile game publisher acquiring 1.24 percent of Nintendo's shares.
