Kanye West broke down in Tears during Interview Section on Radio One (PHOTO)

What's happening to Kanye, this isn't the hardcore dude we know over the years, Kanye cried? That's serious! Kanye West broke down in tears during an interview with Zane Lowe on Radio One.

The 37-year-old musician showed a vulnerable side as he spoke about his Adidas collection and one of his mentors, who he described as "the greatest fashion instructor of all time", the late Professor Louise Wilson, during the interview on Thursday.

Recalling the last time he saw Wilson, he said: “We had dinner at Hakkasan, which is my favourite restaurant in London.

“And I think she knew that she was going to pass, and she just wanted to give me some words of advice moving forward, and she was asking me about my daughter, asked me about my wife.

“And she said, you know, ‘So many students, they don’t give it their all, and the problem is, soon as they do anything halfway good when they’re two-years-old, three-years-old, their parents clap.’”
He continued: “She just looked at me and she said, ‘Kanye, don’t clap.’
"I didn't know we were going to lose her...and she told me, she said, you know, 'Thank you for the times where I came to performances and this has like really meant a lot to me, with...'”

Clearly overcome with emotion, Kanye - who attended a memorial service for Wilson at St Paul's Cathedral last week - covered his eyes and could be heard crying (26:00). Unable to stop the tears, Lowe asked if he wanted to take a minute and the two left the room.

On returning to the studio, he confessed: “That’s never happened to me in an interview before."
