Is this Belgian Player One of Chelsea Regretful Layoff Transfer Deal?

Do you think this was a regrettable layoff by Chelsea? But according to Wolfsburg’s general manager, Klaus Allofs who says Chelsea regret offloading Kevin De Bruyne last year, .

The Belgian ace spent just over two years as a Blues player, but only performed at Stamford Bridge for around a quarter of that time with loan spells at Genk and Werder Bremen taking up most of his time.

After failing to impress when Jose Mourinho came in, De Bruyne was sold to Wolfsburg in a deal worth around £18m, and has since shone in the Bundesliga.

This term the 23-year-old has been in electric form, netting eight goals while laying on 11 assists for the high-flying Volkswagen-backed side.

This has even led to rumours that Chelsea are pondering a move to bring him back to west London, and Allofs thinks that they are now ruing the decision to sell just over 12 months ago.

“At Chelsea they watch with appreciation as Kevin has developed,” he is quoted by The Express.

“They’ve seen it confirmed why they were reluctant to let him leave.”
