Glitter Guilty Of Sex Offences Against Girls, faces life in Prison

Former glam rock star Gary Glitter has been found guilty of a string of historical sex offences against underage girls.

Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd, was convicted of abusing one victim under 10, one under 13 and another who was under 16 at the time of his crimes.

The offences included an attempted rape, four indecent assaults, and administering a drug or other thing in order to facilitate sexual intercourse.

Gadd shook his head and pursed his lips as the verdicts were read out at Southwark Crown Court.
