The January Transfer Window saw +Manchester United midfielder Anderson complete his move to Brazil after signing for Internacional for a free transfer, bringing his eight-year stay at the club to an end.
Anderson had signed for the Red Devils back in 2007 for €30 million and was touted to be one of the most exciting prospects to watch out for. However, things didn’t turn out as the Brazil midfielder would have wanted them to be as he fell out of favour, finding himself featuring mostly in the U21 games.
The 26-year-old left a message for the club and the fans through a post on Instagram as he posted a photo of himself with his three Premier League medals around his neck.
"Thank you so much to Manchester United It is truly the best club in the world, I love it so much and have enjoyed every year I have spent there,” he wrote.
"Thank you to all the team who work at United and especially all the boys, I have made some amazing friends, all of whom are great players and will continue to do great things. And one massive thank you to all of the fans, for your continuos love... The best."
