Nigeria Solely Female Presidential Aspirant Remi Sonaiya visits Pulse

Brave and Dugged that is how I refer to Remi Sonaiya, this is what our female gender should dare, because they actually have say today in our politics. According to Pulseng, Sonaiya, 59, had extensively talked about her passion for Nigerian and what led her to run for President; her aligning with KOWA Party, her mandate, vision and mission for running and her style of campaigning.

On Tuesday, January 13, 2015, Nigerian presidential aspirant Mrs Remi Sonaiya paid a visit to Pulse Nigeria office – where she had an exclusive interview, discussing her intention to run for President of Nigeria.

Sonaiya, 59, extensively talked about her passion for Nigerian and what led her to run for President; her aligning with KOWA Party, her mandate, vision and mission for running and her style of campaigning.

The Professor who is a lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University (which she had joined in 1982 as an Assistant Lecturer) believes Nigeria needs a change – and that someone ‘ordinary’, an everyday citizen of the country very much can do be head of the nation.

When asked about her definition of true leadership, Sonaiya said; 'True leadership is the ability to inspire, to inspire by example, by the power of your own personal discipline, your personal lifestyle'.

Sonaiya is currently running alongside VP aspirant Alhaji Saidu Bobboi, who hails from Adamawa State.

A full transcript of her interview will be published this week.
